A Christian pre-school in Hainesport, New Jersey is currently being investigated after multiple reports that a teacher’s aide sexually abused children at the school. The school, ReJoyce Christian School, is affiliated with St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Children ages 2-6 attend morning or afternoon programs at the pre-school.
The alleged perpetrator is the son of the former director of the school. At a meeting in December 2016, the church pastor revealed that the teacher’s aide in question had previously been reported for inappropriate conduct with children in 2014. A criminal investigation is underway.
