Help for Victims of Sexual Abuse and Assault in North New Jersey

Sex abuse/assault is commonly perpetrated by persons known to the victims, including:
- priests/pastors,
- family friends and relatives,
- teachers,
- coaches,
- day care workers, and
- medical/mental health professionals.
Victims of sexual assault often suffer from long-lasting emotional and psychological scars. Getting help is the first step on the road to recovery. Below are resources for victims of sexual abuse and assault in the North New Jersey area.
If you or a loved one was the victim of sexual abuse or sexual assault, you should contact law enforcement to report the crime. Doing so can help prevent further acts of abuse.
