Pennsylvania Services for Victims of Child Molestation, Priest and Clergy Abuse, Sexual Assault and Sex Abuse

There are special resources and help for victims of child molestation, priest and clergy abuse, sexual assault, and sex abuse at both the Pennsylvania state and national level.  The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) is a statewide organization offering services and resources for sex abuse victims and their loved ones.  PCAR works with local agencies in every county in Pennsylvania.  For more information, please visit www.pcar.org or call (888) 772-7227.  For victims of priest sex abuse, Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests (SNAP) offers recovery assistance. The Crime Victims Compensation Fund for Victims of Child Molestation, Priest and Clergy Abuse, Sexual Assault, and Sex Abuse

Pennsylvania’s Victims Compensation Assistance Program is administered through the Office of Victims’ Services.  Crime victims may be eligible for compensation for medical bills, counseling, lost wages, funeral expenses, crime scene clean up, etc.  There are eligibility requirements and exclusions.
