In May 2013, the Archdiocese announced that Father Collins was placed on administrative leave pending an Archdiocese investigation into reports that he sexually abused a minor some 40 years ago. In December 2013, the Archdiocese announced that Father Paul was also placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into similar reports.
